The Horizontal & Vertical Shearing Machine, also known as the slitting and cut-to-length line, is a fully automatic, high-precision integrated metal processing equipment specially designed for slitting, leveling, and cutting metal coils into customized width strips and fixed-length sheets. As a core equipment in the global metal coil processing industry, it adopts advanced servo control and precision shearing technology to process various metal coils, including hot-dip galvanized steel coils, cold-rolled steel coils, color-coated steel coils (PPGI/PPGL), aluminum coils, and stainless steel coils, into high-quality, dimensionally accurate metal strips and sheets for further processing and application.
Adopting fully automatic continuous processing technology, this machine retains the original mechanical properties and surface quality of raw metal coils, avoiding material deformation, surface scratches, or dimensional errors caused by manual operation. The entire production line runs a seamless workflow: starting from heavy-duty hydraulic uncoiling, precision leveling and deviation correction, servo constant-speed feeding, vertical slitting (optional), horizontal fixed-length shearing, to final automatic stacking and discharging of finished strips or sheets. This integrated intelligent production mode ensures zero manual errors, high processing precision, ultra-high production efficiency, and full compliance with international metal processing standards and export quality certification requirements.

Core Components of Our Horizontal & Vertical Shearing Machine
Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Uncoiling System: Built for large-weight and large-size metal coils used in shearing processing, this system is equipped with a hydraulic expansion uncoiler with a load capacity of 5-15 tons, supporting coil widths ranging from 800-1600mm and material thickness of 0.3-3.0mm. It features automatic hydraulic deviation correction, pressure holding, and anti-slip feeding rollers, paired with a reinforced feeding guide bridge to prevent material wrinkling, scratching, or misalignment during high-speed feeding. It is fully compatible with all common metal coils for shearing processing, ensuring smooth and stable feeding for long-term high-intensity production runs.
Precision Leveling & Deviation Correction Unit: Equipped with 9-15 groups of high-precision leveling rollers, this unit effectively eliminates curling stress, surface unevenness, and edge warping of raw metal coils, guaranteeing the material is perfectly flat and straight before entering the shearing station. It supports adjustable leveling intensity for different material thicknesses and hardness, which is critical to ensuring the finished strips/sheets have uniform thickness, straight edges, and no deformation. The automatic deviation correction system real-time adjusts the material position, ensuring accurate alignment with the shearing blades, avoiding slitting or cutting errors.

Vertical Shearing (Slitting) Unit: As the core of the slitting function, this unit adopts high-precision circular slitting blades made of Cr12MoV alloy steel, processed via precision CNC machining and heat treatment, with a hardness of HRC 60-65, delivering ultra-high wear resistance and a long service life. It supports flexible adjustment of slitting width within 50-1500mm, with slitting accuracy controlled within ±0.1mm. The blade gap can be adjusted according to material thickness, ensuring smooth, burr-free slitting edges and no material deformation. The unit is equipped with a waste edge winding device, which automatically collects slitting waste edges, keeping the production site clean and tidy.
Horizontal Shearing (Cut-to-Length) Unit: For fixed-length cutting of metal strips or sheets, this unit adopts advanced servo-controlled hydraulic shear or flying shear technology, enabling non-stop fixed-length cutting during continuous production. The cutting blades are made of high-strength alloy steel, ensuring smooth, burr-free cutting edges and no material deformation. Cutting accuracy is controlled within ±0.3mm, and the cutting length can be freely adjusted between 0.5-12 meters via the PLC touch screen, adapting to different processing requirements of finished products.

Servo Feeding System: Driven by a high-power servo motor and precision ball screw transmission, the servo feeding system ensures accurate feeding length and constant speed, matching the slitting and cutting processes without slipping or position deviation. It supports stepless speed regulation, with a maximum feeding speed of 10-30 meters per minute, adjustable according to material thickness and processing requirements, ensuring efficient and stable production.

Automatic Stacking & Discharging Mechanism: Designed for finished metal strips and sheets, this unit features a hydraulic lifting stacking platform and soft-contact clamping device with rubber pads, avoiding surface scratches and edge damage to the finished products. It automatically arranges and stacks the slitted strips or cut sheets neatly, with adjustable stacking height, adapting to different storage and transportation needs. The mechanism also supports separate stacking of different width strips, improving production organization efficiency.


Intelligent PLC Control System: The full production line is controlled by a renowned international brand PLC (Siemens/Mitsubishi/Delta) with a user-friendly large touch screen operation panel, supporting multi-language switching including English, Spanish, Arabic, French, Russian, and Portuguese. It realizes full-process automatic control, with functions such as production counting, fault self-diagnosis, emergency stop, parameter memory, slitting width adjustment, cutting length setting, and speed regulation. The system is simple to operate, requiring only 1-2 workers to monitor, with stable, low-failure operation for long-term continuous production.
