Next, the sheet is fed into a servo-controlled punching system that creates precise holes—such as anti-slip holes or installation holes—at predetermined positions. After punching, the metal sheet enters the forming unit, which consists of 16 sets of precisely calibrated rollers. Each set of rollers applies a specific amount of pressure to gradually bend the sheet into the desired cross-sectional shape of the footrest. Finally, the fully formed footrest is cut to the required length by a high-speed cutting mechanism (equipped with Cr12MoV quenched blades), completing the entire production cycle. The entire process is automated and controlled by a PLC system, ensuring consistent quality and high efficiency.

Structure and Components
Decoiling and Leveling Integrated Machine:As the starting point of the production line, this component holds the large metal coil and feeds it smoothly into the subsequent processes. It integrates decoiling and leveling functions, with tension control mechanisms to ensure a stable feed rate. The leveling unit uses adjustable rollers to straighten the coiled sheet, eliminating any unevenness caused by storage and transportation. This component can handle coils with an inner diameter of φ508mm, providing a continuous and stable supply of raw materials for high-volume production.

Precision Punching System:The core component for creating functional holes in the footrest, it includes a high-speed punch press, custom dies, and a PLC control system. The punch press uses mechanical and hydraulic forces to punch holes at high frequencies, with the dies made of Cr12 steel (quenched to HRC58-62°) for wear resistance and long service life. The PLC system allows for precise control of hole spacing, size, and quantity, supporting customization of various hole patterns to meet different footrest design requirements.

Forming Unit:This unit transforms the flat metal sheet into the final footrest shape through a series of progressive bending processes. It consists of 16 sets of rollers made of 45# steel (quenched and tempered to HB240-280°) to withstand high pressure and wear. The rollers are arranged in a specific sequence, with each set gradually shaping the sheet until the desired cross-sectional profile is achieved. The unit is adjustable, enabling the production of footrests with different shapes and sizes to meet diverse application needs.

Schneidemechanismus:After the footrest is fully formed, this mechanism cuts it to the precise length specified by the production parameters. Equipped with high-hardness cutting tools (Cr12MoV, HRC58-62°), it ensures clean and smooth cuts without burrs. The cutting process is synchronized with the feeding and forming speed, ensuring that each finished footrest has consistent length dimensions, which is essential for easy assembly and interchangeability.

Elektrisches Kontrollsystem:Based on PLC technology, this system is the “brain” of the footrest forming machine. It features a user-friendly touchscreen interface that allows operators to input and adjust production parameters (such as footrest length, hole pattern, and production speed) with ease.
