A top hat channel roll forming machine, also known as omega furring channel forming machine, is a dedicated cold roll forming line that converts galvanized steel coil, PPGI or light carbon steel strip into hat-shaped metal profiles. Different from C purlin and Z purlin machines, the top hat (omega) section features a flat top surface with two outward bent flanges, which delivers excellent stiffness while remaining lightweight. It is widely favored for interior ceiling furring, drywall partitions, wall cladding supports and light roof secondary framing projects.
Our Zhongtuo hat channel roll former adopts heavy welded stress-relieved frame and mature PLC + touchscreen control system. Operators can set target length, running speed and punching parameters directly on the HMI. Servo feeding guarantees stable material advance, while hydraulic flying shear provides clean, low-burr cutting ends. Motorized size adjustment model is available for fast switching among different hat channel sizes without replacing rollers frequently.
